New update!
Well, I'm doing my semi-annual Master Cleanse. That and pretty much diet and diet supplements, and the fact that I actually bought a scale (it helps to constantly monitor your progress when you're trying to achieve something, doesn't it?) may be the only factors responsible for a total of (drum roll please) a twenty pound weight loss since my last report. Unfortunately, I need to lose a hell of a lot more than 20 pounds. But it's a start. What I really need to do is start a steady exercise program, and I haven't yet. But I have been eating better, at least. I decided to post here to add this link: Interactive DRI for Healthcare Professionals. This is extremely useful for calculating BMI, how many calories you should be eating, protein, fiber, vitamins ... it's like having a "recommended daily allowance" label just for you.
